- User Friendly – If you are like me you want a website that you can update yourself. You don’t mind having a designer build you a website but after that you’d like to be “handed the keys”, given some instructions and set free. You’d rather not have to call up the designer whenever you want to add something to your page, be it images, some updated information, added features or just a happy holidays message. You may have had some experience with a website and been frustrated by using an FTP program to upload files, unsure where to put things and unsuccessful with getting things to look right. I will build you a site with a “back office” that will make changing and updating your content as easy as updating a Facebook profile.
- Search Engine Friendly – How you and your users experience your website are completely different from how a search engine experiences your website. I often sneak a peek at the code for some of these websites out here and am amazed at how sloppy it is. Search engines read attributes such as headers, keywords, tags, links and content to determine what your site is about. If things are not arranged properly back there your site doesn’t stand a chance of coming up in the search results. This is the secret sauce that will make your website outperform most others. I will build you a site that is optimized to help you corner your specific market.
- Reasonably Priced – Whenever I hear of someone spending thousands of dollars for a website that doesn’t look quite how they want it to, is complicated to update and does not return well in the search engines I feel as though a crime has just been committed. OK, fine, I’m exaggerating. It is true though that lots of web designers count on that recurring income from people who “want things changed around a bit” and hey, good for them. Personally, I think you can do it! I am always available to work on your site if you need me to and throwing me $50 or even $20 to update your site buys you a lot.
